This place is a must visit, for sure! One of the best restaurants in the county, set in a historic hotel in charming downtown Volcano. Only about 15 minutes away from us. We recommend making a reservation!

THE most unique winery in Amador County, you have to visit it to see what we mean! Definitely worth a visit, especially if you like unusual wines made in an ancient way. The winery is inside a cave, too! Check it out.

Some of the best high sierra hiking trails start from Carson Pass, visit the ranger's station to get a look at the variety of trails, and choose one that appeals to you. All of them are beautiful, and many lead to high sierra lakes.
