Home to the International Court of Justice, the Permanent Court of Arbitration, the Academy of International Law and a library of international law, it boasts a rich interior décor contributed by numerous countries, including marble from Italy, wood paneling from Brazil and the USA, and ornamental iron railings from Germany.

Delft is easily reached in about 15 minutes by train from The Hague. It is an ancient and well preserved Dutch town with a number of museums and other attractions. The number 1 tram also goes to Delft and follows a canal for part of the journey.
