This is a great little town, I actually grew up here. Hillside Pizza and Bueno y Sano are two of my favorite quick places to get a bite to eat. Berkshire Brewing Company (BBC) also has a tap room with outdoor seating and corn hole. For something to do when the weather isn't perfect you can go to the Butterfly Museum or Yankee Candle. For better weather days don't forget Mt. Sugarloaf!

This is a great ski mountain with a good vibe. The prices are affordable and the food is excellent. They also offer tubing in the winter and in the summer you can mountain bike or use the high ropes course.

Excellent hiking trails. In the Summer you can slide down 2 of the 3 waterfalls. The lower waterfall is great for children and the middle one is excellent for daring adults, beware it is cold!

A great walk that you can take all the way to Chapel Falls. It is approximately 2 miles to Chapel Falls from the parking lot. In the Summer they have a fruit and vegetable garden that you can pick from free of charge. Beautiful walk, even in the winter the trail is well marked and accessible without snowshoes or skis.

A five minute walk from the cottage is a gorgeous lake with a sandy beach, outdoor BBQ's, picnic tables and a swing set. You can kayak, canoe or sail. Across from the lake you will find a ball field with a full playground.
