Great park close by for walking your dog, taking the kids to the play ground, sitting on the grass for a drumming circle, tennis, baseball and frisbee and Volleyball. It is located next to Crawford street, one of the prettiest streets in the area.
Tuesday afternoons organic market 3-7 pm with live music.
The Crawford street Community Centre has a lovely free entrance to the swimming pool for lap swims, recreational swims and a kiddie pool. Check the schedule for swim times.

The bar is a small intimate gem of a bar. Owned by Paul and Tricia, friends of ours. Saturday and Sunday 5-8 pm, live music by the local musicians. John Borra plays most weeks. During Covid, when indoor bars are shut down, to get to the patio you to one block walk down Ossington. turn right and right again up the first alley way and you will reach the bar’s outside patio. The owners just opened another bar around the corner on Dundas called the 222.

Sightseeing
A wonderful respite from the city and so easy to get to. Ideally to bike to either the Ferry or, even better catch a Tiki Taxi to the island- you can put your bikes on the taxi ($10 a person) and then take the ferry back. On the islands there are beaches, cute neighbour hood houses to bike through, a cafe and restaurant. There is a wonderful shaded low key amusement park on the island, suited for younger children.

This store and the store across the street are pretty great for getting fresh fruit and vegetables and the prices are better than at Metro.I like to support small business owners.

Kensington is located next to Chinatown, which is also fun to wander through.

Great 45 minute HIIT with music, and fund nice coaches. It is a franchise from Australia and the owners of this gym are a couple from Australia and the nicest people. Classes are not cheap but worth the work out!

She has great teachers, always creates a nice vibe in the studio space and she is building and outdoor roofed studio that will be open in June 2022 for blissful Vinyasa classes.
