The Aquarium is just down Airport Rd from the studio. You will also find the Airport (hence the road name) and the dog park, the local SPCA and the Dare County Swimming Hole and picnic spot on the sound. It is also a good place to put in with your kayaks.

I love this place. It is refuge for bear watching, bird watching, otters and alligators. Go early in the morning for the best luck.

Wonderful place for bird watching and then a trip to a quiet beach nearby. Many migratory species rest on their journeys here. Winter is a wonderful time to come visit the swans that quarter here until late winter/early spring to head back north.
