At the Plaza you’ll find many places to shop, restaurants and coffee shops, some parks to hangout, hotels, and Brush Creek. During September, it hosts an annual Art Festival. The night of Thanksgiving, it’s lit up with The Plaza Lights until the new year.

Country Club Plaza

This neighborhood hosts many art galleries (and several tasty bites to eat at!) that are open to all on every first friday of the month. During warmer months, it's usually bustling with people walking around, and artists selling their art from paintings, photography, jewelry, and more! Artists also include musicians, singers and dancers in the street! We love coming out on this day and it's always a joy for all ages to enjoy this artistic community!

Art Festivals
If you're visiting the city during warmer months, look up if there will be an art festival while you're in town! Local and non-local artists come together outdoors to setup their art for sale. An inspiring way to pass the time. Some include Plaza Art Fair, and Brookside Art Festival, among others!

If going downtown, check out the KC Streetcar! It's a free transportation service and currently runs from Union Station to Downtown.

Farmer's Market at the River Market
Held Fri-Sun every weekend at the River Market (most common in warmer months-fewer vendors in the colder season). Friday and early Saturday is the best time to go.
