Keep driving past the campground around Memorial day play in "The Falls". Ask the locals if the water is running at the falls. There is cliff jumping and a couple of pools to play in. One of our favorite things to do in May / June. Must make sure that there is water running. It is dry most of the year. (About 1+ hours from the house, it's in Canyonlands.)
