Tips for Nørrebro, where the apartment is located. Perfect for a walks and enjoying the green spots around. Suggestion for a stroll: Walk down to Nørrebroparken --> Rantzausgade --> Griffenfeltsgade --> Blågårdsplads and Blågårdsgade - very cute and lots of bars and coffee spots --> The Lakes/Dronning Louises Bro --> Ravnsborggade has nice small restaurants --> Sankt Hans Torv --> Elmegade --> Guldbergsgade - and then you’re almost home again! Nørrebrogade (The main street) is known for their falafel and shawarma. My favourite is Durum Symfonien (Very nice to sit in the front and do people watching). For boutiques I would go to Elmegade. Otherwise its mostly good secondhand/vintage (Prag is a good one!) Restaurants: - Omar - Safari - Stefanos - for pizza - Cafe Stadion - Baba d’busk (plant based and great wine) - Babboria or Baby Babboria - Manfreds (expensive but really an experience!) - Relæ (same as above) - Bar pasta For having a drink: - Vinhanen - Pompette (Favourite! Natural wine and snacks) - Friheden (Any time at the day) - Kølsters Tolv Haner If you like porridge, you should try Grød! The Best supermarked nearby is Kvickly or Irma. The cheapest are Aldi and Rema 1000

Areas

CITY CENTER/KØBENHAVN K - Obviously the most touristy, and I would not prefer to walk around there, but this is where you find some cute boutiques. There are small sub-areas that I like - “Pisserenden”. Studiestraede/Lars Bjoernsstraede. If you want quirky secondhand. Pretty touristy though - Christian IX’s gade/grønnegade and around. I would go to these stores which are expensive but very nice: - Wood Wood - Storm - Han Kjøbenhavn - OSV vintage - Times Up vintage - Restaurants and bars (Recommendations in order!) - Pluto - Den Vandrette - Amazing spot! - Fabro - chill pasta - Apollo Bar - fancy - Bottega Barlie - nice sun spot for lunch - Lille Blaa Vinbar - wine bar - Barabba - restaurant open till - Beau Marché - has a nice interior shop too

Retning a bike is the easiest, but use a helmet and get to know to rules, because locals can be rude on the bikelane. Stay safe! Ask your rental place for the rules. Watch out for buses and trucks turning right.

Getting around

- Google maps is fairly reliable, otherwise the app “Rejseplanen”. - You need a Rejsekort, which is similar to the tap on tap off most cities have. - The metro is usually the smartest option, but the S-trains are good too. - Nørrebros Runddel metro is the nearest station, and the one you’ll use. - Keep in mind that some public transportation stops after midnight on weekdays
