The Florida Theater is one of my favorite downtown historic spots. I've seen acts ranging from classical music, to a cult classic movie/theater performance. If there's something going on you're interested in, I highly recommend it!

Historic 5 points is a little neighborhood right next to downtown. Great food, great bars, great parks, and beautiful houses. If you're looking to stroll around, this is the place to go!

This biking and hiking trail and park is made from an old railroad corridor. The trail runs for 15 miles through tall oaks. In some places, the trees almost form an archway, making this ride easy and shady. There are also eight miles of spur trails that run through public conservation lands for hiking and horse riding.

Another one for museum lovers! A cute spot with plenty of fun things to do (for all ages). Once you step outside, you have an amazing view of the Jacksonville skyline, and some fun pieces of art to discover/explore.

The best way I can describe this place is "Cheesecake Factory but better". Very cool decor, and you can order anything from a brie puff pastry, to chicken and artichoke risotto, to even a fluffernutter sandwich. No, I'm not kidding.
