Buffalo Trace Distillery is a distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky, that is owned by the Sazerac Company. It has historically been known by several names, including the George T. Stagg Distillery and the Old Fire Copper (O.F.C.) Distillery. Its namesake bourbon brand, Buffalo Trace Kentucky Straight Bourbon whiskey, was introduced in August 1999. The company claims the distillery is the oldest continuously-operating distillery in the United States. The company says the name "Buffalo Trace" refers to an ancient buffalo crossing on the banks of the Kentucky River in Franklin County, Kentucky. The Sazerac Company purchased the distillery in 1992.

Enjoy the live music every Thursday evening on Marketplace. (please check the latest updates due to Covid-19) Located in the heart of Downtown Lexington, Kentucky near the Historic Lexington Courthouse, this market location serves as the anchor market of the LFM and a weekend anchor to Main Street.  However due to social distancing requirements associated with COVID-19, the market as temporarily relocated to the Rupp Arena parking lot. Traditionally the Saturday market operates April through October and this makes up our main market season. Expect to find over 50 vendors in June, July, and August, representing over 30 Kentucky counties. PARKING There is ample free parking during market hours in the Rupp Arena parking lot.  Enter from Broadway, High Street, Maxwell Street, or Lexington Center Drive.

Rupp Arena at Central Bank Center is an arena located in downtown Lexington, Kentucky, U.S. Since its opening in 1976, it has been the centerpiece of Central Bank Center (formerly Lexington Center), a convention and shopping facility owned by an arm of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, which is located next to the Lexington Hyatt and Hilton hotels. Rupp Arena also serves as home court to the University of Kentucky men's basketball program, and is named after legendary former Kentucky coach Adolph Rupp with an official capacity of 20,500. In Rupp Arena, the Kentucky Wildcats men's basketball team is second in the nation in college basketball home attendance. Rupp Arena also regularly hosts concerts, conventions and shows.
