The old town is unique with it's historic buildings and winding streets.

Bring your buckets and spades, this gently sloping beach is perfect for building sandcastles, rolling in the dunes, flying a kite, unfolding a picnic blanket and spending a classic day at the English seaside. For the more adventurous there’s windsurfing, powerboating, horse riding, biking, stand-up paddleboarding, kite buggying and kitesurfing.

The Hastings Country Park is a must for walkers. The park can be accessed directly by foot from the cottage( for the keen walkers), but it also has a car park. The views are wonderful and the paths take you across the fire hills running adjacent to the sea.
