A few years ago, Time Magazine named Camp Adventure a top-100 place in the world to visit. Camp Adventure is a forest-climbing park located south of Haslev in Gisselfeld Klosters forests in Southeast Zealand. The park, which opened in 2013, consists of 10 treetop climbing tracks of varying difficulty, one of which is a 450 m long cable car. The courses have heights for both children and adults. The 45 meter high Forest Tower, located in the forest of Gisselfeld monastery, offers a 360 degree view over the beautiful South Zealand nature.

In Crocodile Zoo you can experience crocodiles of all sizes and greet snakes, monkeys and giant turtles, and as the only place in Denmark you can also see tree leopards! The most important thing for us is that you enjoy your visit to the Crocodile Zoo and have an exciting experience, which hopefully gives an understanding of how amazing crocodiles are and how necessary it is to preserve them.

At the exhibition, there is plenty of opportunity to talk to our employees and ask questions about the tunnel. There is also entertainment for the kids in our indoor drawing area or outdoor tunnel playground.

There are good opportunities to catch sea trout, and in May you can catch hornfish at Albuen Strand. Remember to buy a fishing license at Nakskov Tourist Office or order it online.

Did you know that the museum found a piece of birch pitch gum during an archaeological dig and through DNA analysis, researchers could tell us something about the girl who had used the gum? We have used that knowledge in the museum's new Stone Age exhibition, where you can meet the girl we have called Lola, who lived on Lolland approximately 5,700 years ago.
