This place offers $25 steak and bottomless fries in one of the hottest neighborhoods in Charlotte. Opened in 2019, the Dunavant quickly became one of the most sought after restaurants in town. The bar is beautiful, patio is perfectly sized, and the food is fabulous!

This is my favorite restaurant in Charlotte. The fast casual environment is perfect for families, or couples on the go. Order the limeña chopped salad and a side of sweet potato fries!

This is a great hole-in-the-wall date spot with amazing food. Located in historic fourth ward, they specialize in pasta, but their entire menu is great. Parking is limited around here, so I would recommend ubering over and considering taking a stroll around the neighborhood before eating.

KiKi is a new cocktail lounge in Plaza Midwood. This place has a critically acclaimed chef, and is one of the best restaurants in Charlotte. It’s very trendy, and it’s dishes go along with this theme. They also have an entire plant based menu. I would recommend this place for a swanky date night.

One of the best/healthiest places in Charlotte. Many of the panthers players often frequent this place. It has a very natural/boho vibe. Not the best coffee, so I would recommend stopping at central coffee in southend on the way, and then get the breakfast burrito at roots.

Neighborhoods
NoDa is the artsy/eclectic neighborhood in Charlotte. Similar to Plaza Midwood, NoDa is known for its unique shops and food offerings, but with more of a musical scene. Heist Brewery has a great quesadilla (not great beer), and can be followed up with a gormet popsicle from pop bar, a drink at the Blind Pig, and popping in to hear some live music at the evening muse. NoDa is very walkable, but not ideal parking. Luckily, the light rail has a stop right on 36th street which is in the center of NoDa.

Workman’s friend is a great spot for dinner and drinks, resident culture is a large, nationally acclaimed brewery with great beer (they also have food truck Friday every Friday during warmer months), and Common Market is a great option for breakfast sandwiches.

Workman’s friend is a great spot for dinner and drinks, resident culture is a large, nationally acclaimed brewery with great beer (they also have food truck Friday every Friday during warmer months), and Common Market is a great option for breakfast sandwiches.
This neighborhood is one of the fastest growing neighborhoods in America! It has a younger vibe (lots of young professionals) but there are lots of wine bars (Dillworth tasting room, The Wine Loft, Vin Master, Restaurants (The Dunavant, Superica, Link & Pin), Breweries (Sycamore, Suffolk Punch, TrippleC). The best part is that the whole neighborhood is centered around the light rail, so my place is the perfect spot to stay to explore southend!

This place is so fun! Full bar, full kitchen, and tons of games like duck pin bowling, pop-a-shot, pool, ping pong, darts, jenga, etc... Dont get me wrong, this is more of an adult place! It is right beside OMB, one of the largest breweries in Charlotte, which is very family friendly, as well as Broken Spoke, a whisky distillery and bar.

It has a man made white water rafting/kayaking river, rock climbing, many miles worth of hiking trails, and great food. Great for families, and it is free to go to ($5 parking), and the activities are reasonably priced. Thursday’s and Saturday’s during the warmer months, they have live music.
