Kids always love amusement parks! Linnanmäki amusement Park is only a 1,5 km walk away from out apartment. Enjoy 40 different rides, restaurants, kiosks, games, as well as a concert stage. Entrance to the area is for free as well as 9 different rides for tottlers. You can buy single tickets or a “wristband” that provides an individual access to all of the rides for the entire day. You can also bring your own picnic with you.

Helsinki Swimming Stadium is an outdoor swimming venue located behind the Helsinki Olympic Stadium just a 950 meter walk from the apartment. Tickets adults 4,5 € and children 2,2 € (prices 2020) Note! Make sure you have 50 cent coin for the locker. Lockers ONLY take 50 cent coin, and you will get it back after your stay. The Swimming Stadium is a popular recreational venue for citizens. It is open from the beginning of May to the end of September. It is a popular place and in summertime it is visited by about 5,000 swimmers every day . The stadium has three pools: - 50 meter exercise swimming pool - children's pool - diving pool - a small, shallow, round wading pool for small children a little further away - diving boards 1, 3, 5, 7,5 ja 10 m - springboards 2 x 1 m, 3 m The area also has a - water slide* - indoor gym and small outdoor gym - basketball field - volleyball field - table tennis table - café * Waterslide is open between 4.6. - 12.8. between 12 -18 PM Half day ticket 5 € (price 2020) Note! Children and adult In order to use the waterslide you must have swimming skills.

Rent a citybike just outside the culture factory Korjaamo (50 m from the apartment) and you will feel the warm sand between your toes in just a few minutes. Or take a nice walk through Sibelius park and walk next to the shore to Hietsu beach just in 20 min enjoying a local ice-cream on the way. Outdoor gym, beach volley, showers, toilets free for everyone.

Visitors are not charged an admission fee – you only need to pay for the ferry crossing. Suomenlinna is also a borough of Helsinki. The many cafés, restaurants and terraces of Suomenlinna are charming oases. There are plenty of options, from cafés and lunch restaurants to fine dining. All of the cafés and restaurants serve during the summer season and many of them also serve visitors during the winter season. In addition, the fortress has a brewery. A HSL ferry service runs from the Market Square to Suomenlinna throughout the year. Buy HSL ticket AB zone with HSL app. In the summer season, a water bus service to Suomenlinna is also available.
