Entertainment & Activities

Take the toei oedo line from shin-egota to toshimaen (just 2 stations away, 5 minutes train ride) and you will find Niwa no yu spa just around the corner, 3 minutes walk from the station. (Japanese site) http://www.niwanoyu.jp/ Bring along your swimsuits to relax at the pool area. There's an indoor pool, two jacuzzis outside, a steam sauna and a finnish sauna facility.

Mr Donuts is a staple donuts shop in Japan, sort of like Dunkin Donuts for the rest of the world. It's really famous with kids, and the donuts are not too sweet (as compared to Crispy Kreme for example). Open from 8AM and can be a great place to grab a quick bite before your morning adventures!

It was opened in 1985 and although has a long history, the museum is considered a minor museum compared to other art museums you can find in middle of the city like the Mori Art Museum, Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum or The National Art Center, Tokyo. Most of the exhibitions are by local artists, and sometimes they have events such as talks. Mostly in Japanese. If you would like to experience a very local art museum, this will be a great place to spend a few hours though.
