Great place for a beer. You can sit on the front terrace, or walk all the way through the pub to get yourself a seat on the back terrace, which is right on the canal.

The city museum of Ghent gives a history of the original settlement of Ganda and how it has evolved over time to become the beautiful city it is today. There is a fantastic permanent exhibit about the theft of Het Lam God painting, giving all of the intricate details of its theft. At the moment there is an exhibit on Willem of Orange, the king of the Netherlands, and his influence on the city of Ghent. Excellent museum.
