Learn about early Tahoe history in Emerald Bay State Park ! Take a guided tour of the mansion in the summer. Arrive at the parking area early as the small lot fills up quickly. Plan to spend the day on the lovely sandy beach with shallow water. It's a steep walk from the parking area to the mansion at the end of Emerald Bay. Lots of wild flowers to view along the way. Gift shop near the mansion.
