Subways are the fastest to get around!
There is the F train on 2nd Avenue. There is also the M8 bus line that goes crosstown on 10th Street. The M9 towards Battery Park on Avenue C. The M15 which goes uptown on the East Side of Manhattan. And on 14th Street, you have the L train if you don't mind walking 5-7 minutes to go to Brooklyn. In addition to that, there are Citibikes you can use via the Lyft app.
