There is curb parking all over downtown with paid parking meters, paid parking garages that usually cost $5-$10, some restaurants/stores do provide their own free parking lot or may be able to validate your parking ticket for free.
It may be better to uber/lyft around downtown if you are not ready for downtown traffic, and streets.
