Food scene

A former Sears Roebuck Distribution Center has been transformed into a massive Market with plenty of restaurants, bars, shopping (we suggest the locally owned businesses on the 2nd floor). A rooftop with games. Ponce City Market has it all and is a great place to spend several hours during your stay.

Wonderkid is described as a locals-friendly, “contemporary spin on the classic diner.” In addition to diner staples like steak and eggs and roasted chicken pot pie, Wonderkid also boasts a full cocktail menu, as well as beer and wine offerings. The “Now Playing” cocktail menu features jukebox-inspired sips like the You’ll Be A Zombie Soon and the U.S.S. Red Dress. Oh, they also have amazing soft serve ice cream. :)

1 mile away from The Roost is East Atlanta Village (or as we call it, EAV). EAV is home to some of the cities most diverse (and best) businesses, restaurants, bars and clubs, all in a walkable radius of a few blocks. It's best to bike or take a short, 2-3 min Uber ride to EAV, only because you have to cross over I-20. You can have an uber/lyft drop you anywhere in or around the village and then hop from place to place.
