Neighbourhoods
Warkworth is an 8 minute drive.
We have great local beaches 15 to 20 minutes away .
• Mahurangi river – walk along the boardwalk, down Wharf St in Warkworth.
• Behind the Info Centre is a great children’s playground, there are also trampolines in the Lucy Moore park end of Baxter st.
• Old Warkworth Cement works 79/133 Wilson Road South – a great swimming hole , a nice walk around the old works. Can be very popular in summer.
• Parry Kauri Park – 30 minute bush walk beautiful spot. Tudor Collins Drive

• Snells beach – shelly beach, very tidal do check the high tide, good children’s playground, great fish and chips
• Tawharanui – surfing boogie boarding and even snorkelling beautiful spot

Matakana Art many galleries – The Vivienne check out the trail
Sculptureum – great sculptures, grab lunch, coffee or a glass of wine. 40 Omaha Flats Road. GrabOne frequently have tickets at 50% $39 worth checking before you go in.
Kawau Island – Visit Mansion house explore the island, check to see if Cafe ore restaurant are open. Get Kawau Cruises & Kawau Water Taxis – sandspit.
Visit Historical Puhoi – go inside the pub or hire a kayak
Brick Bay vineyard also has a sculpture trail
Sawmill Brewery closed due to fire but hopefully will open soon.
Leigh sawmill café – entertainment spot but you may need to checkout whose playing and get a ticket
Matakana Cinemas – boutique cinemas the ceilings are amazing, the bar has some great wines and gins
