There is a dam to walk to through NC Game Lands (be careful and wear bright colors!) and the turn off to that is on the right hand side immediately before you get to the road to the house on the left.
Lake Logan has affordable day passes for swimming, fishing and boating (using their boats and paddleboards only, at this time).
