Food shops
Here’s our favorite food shops, close to home!
Our friends love the cheese they eat from this shop when they come home!
They have a large choice of ‘regular’ cheeses, and some original ones that you have to try.
For a nice cheese & wine, choose 4 or 5 cheeses between:
A non-hard goat or sheep cheese (on the left in the shop)
A hard cow cheese (Comté, Morbier, Abondance, Tomme de Savoie)
A creamy hard cow cheese (Brie de Meaux, Saint-Marcellin
A blue cheese (Fourme d’Ambert for a soft one, Roquefort for a strong one)
A hard goat or sheep cheese (Goat Tomme if you didn’t choose a cow Tomme)
An original one with truffle, herbs, or pepper (Brillat Savarin Truffé, you must try it!)
During winter, try a Raclette! We have the machine to make it, you can ask at the shop how much cheese and witch cheese to buy!

There are small supermarkets very close to our home such as Auchan A 2 Pas, or Franprix. I wouldn't particularly recommend them.
An excellent and lovely organic shop.
At home, you have all you need to use less packaging (tote bags for bulk products, glass boxes)
