Subway is the fastest
Subway is the fastest way to get around in New York. Avoid buses traffic is always heavy in the city don’t drive unless you are just going to leave it parked and take the subway. Make sure to use google maps when going to any unfamiliar places in New York, people use that the most to get around because you get transit and walking info so you don’t have to ask anyone.

Since you are staying in Harlem buy anything you might need in Harlem downtown is extremely pricy the same things in Harlem are much less.
