Pazzo is only 2.6 miles from the guesthouse, and has some of the best pizza and Italian food in the Bay area (inexpensive too). Get there early (or late); they don't take reservations and you may have a long wait.

Normally I would not recommend an (expensive) steakhouse - but their happy hour burger and other food is great. Get there before 6 PM. Located in the Stanford Shopping Center. 5 miles from the guesthouse.

Stanford University is one of the largest campuses in the US, and has literally miles of walking, running, and biking paths. The campus is busy during the day, but parking in most areas is free after 4 PM (be sure to check!). Beautiful scenery and not to be missed while in the area.
