For 40 years, the Čakovice Chateau has been providing artistic education.
The Marie Podvalová Elementary Art School uses two thirds of the space, one third serves as a representative space, meeting, presentation, meeting and concert venue of the Prague - Čakovice district.
21 rooms, classrooms, use music, art and literary-dramatic field of elementary art school. All are designed to preserve the chateau's character and inspire young artists to work creatively.
The art discipline takes care of the decoration of all spaces. In recent years, we hold regular exhibitions in the new attic space of the castle, which we call Gallery.
The largest hall of the chateau, now newly named Schoeller Hall - a multifunctional space for events of a festive nature, or, for example, a meeting of the municipal council, underwent a radical transformation.
The public is looking for regular events that take place at the chateau: concerts of elementary school pupils, concerts of teachers of art schools, exhibitions, theater performances of LDO elementary school pupils, Castle Night, Advent at the castle and cultural events in the courtyard and in the park.
The chateau is the cultural center of the city district and this is the destination of its users.
