Parks & Nature
The falls are wonderful, you can walk down to the base of the falls and then walk to the Mississippi River. Afterwards, you can relax and have a picnic or enjoy the food at the Tin Fish at the top of the falls

Sightseeing
There are a chain of lakes about 6 miles from my home. Lake Harriet, Lake Calhoun and Lake of the Isles. There are walking paths, biking paths, canoe rental at Lake Calhoun. And restaurant "Tin Fish" (seasonal) also at Lake Calhoun. Regardless its a nice drive around the lakes, with many beautiful homes and rose gardens to wander in.
