Scone Palace is steeped in history and the family home of the Earls of Mansfield. The Palace was the ancient crowning place of Scottish kings on the stone of Scone, known as the Stone of Destiny. It is now in Edinburgh Castle.
There are extensive grounds to meander through and you can admire the resident peacocks who wander the gardens freely.
There is also a play-park to keep the young ones entertained and a cafe for food and refreshments.

Perth Farmers market is on 1st Saturday of every month
Perth Farmers' Market takes place on the 1st Saturday of every month (except January) in the South Inch car park, Shore Road, Perth, Scotland from 9am to 2pm. There is an extra market on the 3rd Saturday in December.
Please note in 2021 there is a change of date. There is no market in November but there are two in October
