If you're into meat, the Cock's and Cows restaurant serves good quality burgers and frites. I can warmly recommend this place - maybe more for take away than sitting in the restaurant. But the food is always good - check it out.

The Lakes are historically a part of a larger defense complex built as a fortress around the city. Yes, a couple of hundred years ago, that was all there was :-)
