The slogan "The Greatest outdoor show on earth" says it all, kinda. Lots of cowboys, cowgirls, rodeos, midway rides, carnivals, people, animals, food, mini-donuts, alcohol, rain and hail. If you're in Calgary early July, you should really spend a day at the Stampede ground and let it soak in. It's one of those that you need to experience to see what all the fuss is about.
