This community isnt a really a bunch of little shops & workshops, its an experience. Really hard to describe but so interesting you really must try to visit! Best I can describe its like a modern-day amish community. They grow, make, build and create things the old fashioned way ( Including all the buildings & Barns that were rebuilt onsite from Old barns all over the country. What they dont make, they locally source. The Cafe is also listed on my favorites list so if you go, plan to spend some time enjoying this remarkable place.

These are great restaurants (most all locally owned & operated) are always a big hit with my guests & my personal crew! They all have a great atmosphere and the food is top notch.
Well....go figure, another hit for Jo! Food is really is fantastic, maple bacon is to die for, biscuits and the strawberry butter are so yummy but honestly everything really is GREAT! Plan accordingly because its always busy & Closes at 3.

This is not only a fantastic Farm to Table restaurant, there are also lots of great "heritage" shops in this community. The carrot cake is my personal favorite and the Chicken fried steak is one of the best ever!

If you have a group and need multiple food options in a cool & convenient area downtown, this is your spot. Its like a "food truck foodcourt". It has indoor seating in pubstyle tables. Food is mostly from local vendors who used to set up at our Farmers Market.

This local place is not very convenient to most Waco activities but the food is all homemade and Exceptional! Its southern style food like your momma used to make (only a little bit better perhaps). It does NOT have great ambience so you'll get good food here but the location wont impress you much. However, its worth the drive if your craving good cookin'!

Its really a food truck park! There are 6 food trucks surrounding a "quasi adult playground" in the middle. They have some airconditioned areas for seating or you can sit outside like a park. There are XL yard games and string lights. They sell craft beer, canned seltzers & wine. Its a new concept but pretty cool if you ask me. Its certainly super casual but a fun option if thats your gig.

This location actually used to be an old Pizza Inn restaurant years ago but has been home to our Favorite local Italian spot for many years. All the food is authentic & homemade and you wont be disappointed if your love real mom & pop style italian food. Its a locals hotspot and also BYOB!

This Ultra Tiny place is locally owned & a sweet gem tucked away in an older strip center. Its off the beaten path but if your looking for a "Cheers experience where they always know your name" and the regulars frequent, you should give it a shot.

Its got a very casual & rustic atmosphere with both indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor area is expansive with string lights, games, firepits and sections that can be reserved for private events & parties. Drinks are good but the ambience is its biggest draw.

Loved by the locals, you wont be disappointed. Plus her hubby Randy owns the Salty Dog next door if you are looking for variety.

This bar is famous, not for its drinks necessarily, but actually The Bar itself. It has a story that you can discover while sipping on you favorite libation. Located on the second story of the historic Curry building, this upscale lounge is really nice and the ambience is really cool.

Had to add this bar since I love the restaurant & most of all their traditional margarita (that is really strong I might advise). The bar area is room & the locations is perfect for winding down after a day of shopping and sight seeing.

This place is nothing extraordinary but is a nice landing spot for a glass of wine with friends after a day of shopping. Light food offerings and my favorite part is the live music, which always makes a drink taste better!
