Known for its remote coastal scenery, the bays and coastline around the Coffin Bay National Park are ideal for boating, fishing, sailing, scuba diving and windsurfing. You can explore the park's coastal landscapes of high windswept cliffs and massive dunes, pounding surf beaches and sheltered sandy bays.
At the southern end of the park is Yangie Bay, accessible by 2WD. It’s an ideal place to paddle your canoe, enjoy a bush picnic or explore a coastal bushwalking trail. Point Avoid and Golden Island lookout can also be reached by sealed road and you’ll be rewarded with spectacular island views along the way.
The pristine northern beaches of Coffin Bay National Park are only accessible by high-clearance 4WD. A favourite destination for anglers, birdwatchers and surfers, this remote and beautiful area offers several secluded camping areas with easy beach access.

Nestled at the foot of the sandhills, the Sports Club is located at the end of Giles Road - just a short drive up the hill from the Coffin Bay Caravan Park
The sporting club features a 9 hole golf course with greens, synthetic bowling green and pool tables.
The clubrooms provide a picturesque outlook, great atmosphere to meet with friends or chat to the locals over a drink.

A half-hour drive from Coffin Bay, Glen-Forest Tourist Park is a 400 acres farm, with 120 acres dedicated to the animal park. 80 acres of vineyard also exists on the property, varieties grown are: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Shiraz, Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay.
This family operated tourist park provides a casual atmosphere where visitors are invited to wander at leisure, stopping to feed the variety of animals and birds. There are baby animals for the children to feed and cuddle. Fed by natural springs and creeks all year round, the dams are home to prolific water birds.
Animal varieties include: koalas, dingos, kangaroos, wombats, sheep, goats, emus, camels, horses, cows, water buffalos, Babe the pig, ostriches, ducks, peacocks and a walk in bird aviary which is a definite highlight of Glen-Forest Tourist Park. Glen-Forest Tourist Park offer the usage of a free BBQ undercover eating area with a kiosk where tea, coffee, drinks, ice creams and souvenirs are available. You can sit and eat your lunch while the children enjoy the animals in the nursery area. If you prefer there are shaded lawn areas or venture out into the park and enjoy the natural surroundings.
