Walk along the water up to 14th St. Ferry and catch it to midtown. Check out The Vessel - tix are free- it gets crowded on weekends so may be a line. From there walk a few blocks south to the High Line for a stroll/sightseeing.
Stop off in Meatpacking district at The Standard outdoor beer garden for a drink and people watching.
