A small and intimate, this is my favorite Italian restaurant in the area. All pastas are handmade in house, sauces and salads change with the season and the wine list is the best I've found! This one fills up fast so recommend a reservation if you are going at peek hours. Otherwise, you might have a 1 hr to 1.5 hour wait. If that happens, you can walk a couple of blocks to Everson Royce Wine Shop and buy a glass or two while waiting for your text update.

This beauty has been restored to its Art Deco glory but with a steampunk vibe, multiple bars, Chesterfield couches, the original murals and loads of fun original bowling alley memorabilia that they found in the attic. There's usually a wait for the lanes at peek times, but go during the day or off hours or agree to bowl with another small group, and you'll get through quickly. Nonetheless, it's worth a peep inside. Also serves wood fired pizza for when the bowling works up your appetite.

There's a teahouse on the property where you can have high tea, but it must be booked in advance. I come here several times of year!
