NEIGHBORHOOD AMENITIES
These are some of the diverse (and almost entirely indigenous to Colorado) shops & restaurants that are just 4-5 blocks to the west along Alpine Ave (my street!). West is toward the foothills (toward the right as you walk out of my place).
For completeness, I've added two more that are slightly farther away (6-8 blocks) in the Historic Hotel Boulderado: The Corner Bar and Spruce Farm & Fish.

THE PEARL STREET MALL
The Pearl Street Walking Mall is among my TOP THREE THINGS to see and do during a brief visit to Boulder. It is is the social and cultural center of town.
