Many people are looking for the classic NYC Bagel experience. We have found that this is the best place nearby to the apartment. It's good food in a surprisingly bright, airy environment compared to some of these shops. Lots of choices and the bagels are quite good!

Parks
Adventures ranging from small to large.
Located about one block from the apartment, this is a beautiful spot to sit and watch passers-by or enjoy a picnic lunch on a bench or at one of the two person chess tables.

This is a larger park, which provides views of the East River and also access to the East River Bike Path, for longer river walks.

This is the best access point to Central Park from the apartment. It gives you access to the bike path, the walking road AND very nearby to the Reservoir path access, which is beautiful year round - and really a MUST SEE.

This is another Met property that is very close to the apartment, with a more manageable foot print than the full Metropolitan. A hidden gem, very close by.

The Guggenheim is great because it isn't huge and the spiral building itself is such a great site to see. Check to see what exhibits are on - they have a very well curated collection of permanent works as well.

There is SO much happening at Lincoln Center. You can see NYC Ballet, ABT Ballet, Opera and other Concerts. The works are nothing short of breath-taking. You will not be disappointed.

This is a cool movie theater, not too from from the apartment, that has full reclining seats in the theater. So, when we do decide to take in a movie, we prefer this place because it is so comfortable.
