Favorite Orange County Eats!
Shanghai soup dumplings or xiao long bao are little pockets of meat filling with hot and clear broth packaged inside a dumpling wrapper. Dumplings come out in stacked steamers along with savory noodle dishes and veggie dishes (we really like the cucumber salad and the chili oil wontons). The wait can be long especially for large groups, so we recommend putting your name down and then going shopping at the beautiful South Coast Plaza where the restaurant is located.

If you want to eat your leafy greens, definitely check out CAVA. They do chopped salads with meats and falafel, and all kinds of yummy dressings. The portions are big so may want to split one bowl with a friend!

I love raw fish. Poke is like sushi salad and Uroko Cafe is one of my favorite places to get my poke fix. You can pick the kind of fish in your bowl and add salad greens or rice. On rainy days they do free miso soup and I love that.

The service can be short because the staff is pretty young, but I always enjoy the sweet treats and beverages here. I like the Milk and Honey special that comes with shave ice, tart frozen yogurt, mochi, and fruit. They also serve a selection of coffee, tea, and pastries.

Their specialty is nem nuong, a summer roll with a housemade grilled pork sausage served with a really yummy dipping sauce. I also love the Vietnamese crepe that you tear and eat inside of a lettuce wrap with herbs, and the curry.
