One of our favorite day trips is to Love Creek Orchards and The Apple Store. Stop by the orchard to pick seasonal fruit and then head over to the Apple Store for lunch/shopping. Drive just a little further and swim in the Medina River.

This place is absolutely beautiful and much more interesting architecturally than the Alamo in my opinion. Less tourists and more space to roam and see!

Bar 1919 is hidden underground and is only found by a light or two shining outside. Great boozy craft cocktails in a cozy environment. There are art galleries and restaurants all around the bar as well.
