This Urban Eatery is fun, upscale food court and that gives you the opportunity to try several different Waco owned joints at one time.
Start in the Sam’s Bar and work your way around from appetizers to dessert. My favorites are: Huaco Eatery, Pho My, Curry Up & Wok this Way, Tiny Pies and Wacool Tacos are some of our favorites. Nice open eating area as well as outside seating.

Most of these restaurants are unique to Waco but we've also included a few of our favorite chains because they're that good.
This is a special place with lots of history before Chip and Joanna transformed it into this beautiful restaurant. The wait can be long especially on the weekends but they allow you to stop and put your name on the list and do other things while you wait. We recommending going between 2 and closing time for less wait time. They also have delicious take out items in the little store on one side.

Yes, it is part of a chain but we love the Tex-Mex at Chuy's. They never use anything frozen (except the Margarita's) so the food is very fresh and amazing. They have a great happy hour with a Nacho buffet from 4-7 on weekdays. It does get crowded so you might call ahead for the wait.

Another chain but awesome! Everything we've had has been good from Pizza, Burgers to Chicken and Shrimp Pasta. Great drinks and good beer selection!

This place is a few minutes outside our "10 minute zone" but it is so worth the short drive. The food is amazing but Homestead Heritage and Craft Village, all in the same area, are wonderful places to visit while in Waco. Nothing like it!

This place is four minutes outside of our 10 minutes to everything goal but sooo worth it. You can’t go wrong with any of the local favorites sectioned the menu. My husband loves the Chicken Waffle and I think the Chicken and Pancakes are the best! Be prepared to take some home too. I also love that they serve Black Rifle Coffee.
