We are super lucky here to live at the gateway of the beautiful South West Region.
There are lots of places to explore and we are sure you will find something of interest.
Here are some of our favourite things to do :-)
The new Dolphin Discovery Centre is an amazing spot to visit in Bunbury.
Wonderful interactive activities for kids large and small!
If you visit in the morning between 9am and lunch time is the best opportunity to see the Dolphins come in for a visit.

We love the Mangrove Boardwalk. Lots of birds and wildlife. Lovely leisurely stroll.
If you are feeling really energetic then you can continue your walk right around the estuary and even drop in at the Waters Edge Cafe on the way around for a lovely feed or coffee :-)

Noted in the Top 10 Things to See in WA, Gnomesville is a must see. It's just a beautiful 40 minute drive out of Bunbury into the gorgeous Ferguson Valley to visit our local Gnome family.
When you arrive you will find literally 1000's of Gnomes all lovingly placed by visitors to the area.
So before you head out there, go buy a Gnome and add your own touch to Gnomesville.

When you arrive you will find literally 1000's of Gnomes all lovingly placed by visitors to the area.
So before you head out there, go buy a Gnome and add your own touch to Gnomesville.

Beautifully sheltered in Geographe Bay. The beach is calm, clear and quite. George loves playing at this beach and enjoys a swim :-)

Grand Cinemas is a great spot to watch all our latest movie releases. Right in the centre of town, you can enjoy a meal at one of the many restaurants within walking distance.

We love the Bunbury Wildlife Park and our overseas visitors love it even more!
Being able to pat and feed some of our native animals is very exciting for our visitors.
Enjoy a leisurely stroll around the park; feed the animals and have something to eat.

We think that this should be listed as one of the Top 10 Places to Visit in WA! The fresh produce and food is amazing!
Once you get through the beautiful fresh fruits and vegetables, you will find an amazing array of ready to cook stir frys, reheatable meals, and amazing deli foods. Everything you see that is pre-prepared is made on the premises to the highest of standards.
Enjoy the tasting stations all through the building to try before you buy - fruit; meat; fish; preprepared foods; deli foods; cheeses and desserts.
With the fruit and vegetables; butcher; sushi bar; bakery; florist and delicatessen, there is not much more that you will need to create an amazing meal. Whether you make it from scratch or use one of the lovingly prepared easy cook or reheat meals, you won't be disappointed.
We are sure you will love the Bunbury Farmers Market as much as we do!
And we are more than happy for you to come back and cook up a storm in our kitchen with is well stocked with all the appliances you could possibly need :-)

We love their taste testers and they have a lovely coffee shop that is very reasonably priced.

We love the Yallingup Maze for a fund time getting lost! Which I normally do! Great way to pass some time on a beautiful day.

We are lucky to have an amazing Regional Entertainment Centre which attracts a great variety of shows from comedy to ballet to opera and everything in between. Check out the BREC website for any shows on while you are visiting us.

The Maidens WalkWe love this walk. You can wander through to the beach or take the walk up the hill to the lookout with a wonderful view of Bunbury and as far down as Dunsborough on a clear day. George loves the run through the bush.

A lovely part of the Bunbury Beach line are these Basalt Rock formations. We love to wander along here checking out all the rock pools. A great spot for photography with the waves crashing on the rocks and a beautiful spot to watch the sun set.

We love Dalyellup Beach! It is 6 minutes from home and 4WD accessible. Fishing is great down there and watching the sunset over the ocean is just magic!

We love The Lakes Park. There is a great walk path all around the park and lake areas. There is even some gym equipment along the way for those that are keen. Lots of wildlife to see and a lovely boardwalk and gazebo to rest a while in. And less than 5 minutes from our home.
