This is a very iconic Pensacola establishment, so Irish that you are transported out of the South. The budget-friendly food is enormously portioned and the atmosphere is boisterous and fun. Go at peak times (small wait usually) and get in on the interactive music. You will definitely sing The Unicorn Song and may just be publicly goaded into kissing their famous Moose!

This is our favorite pizza, but the place also has a world-class deli for salads, sides, etc. If you are a chocolate lover, we always grab a piece of their Lovin' Spoonful cake.....prepare to hate yourself for your gluttony....

THIS place.......great pizza inside an old mental hospital. 'Nuff said but I'll go on........The joint is cool. Caters to the younger crowd but I go anyway. The setting is very One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest, maintained just as it was when they were performing lobotomies and shock treatments. (Just kidding I don't know if they did that here, but it sure looks like they might have!) The walls in the back room are covered in coloring pages of pizza slices submitted by every manner of artist and funny people, worth going just to see these! This huge building has been converted into business spaces and private offices, but stand outside and look up and you can almost hear the screams........

Iron is just about the apex in dining here. They have incredible, adventurous fare, using local suppliers. Got their start as an upscale golf course house restaurant, but outgrew it fast, went straight downtown and has had to offer very limited seating! Well worth wiggling into for an extra night.

Ok, you want a new burger experience to beat all? I challenge you! Go to the DeVilliers Neighborhood, the artsy, funky and revitalizing edge of downtown. You get here before the joint opens and stand on the street like an addict. When they throw open the door, you all flood in and spread out around a stand-only, giant u-shaped counter. One dude comes out from the back and takes everyone's orders. At the same time. No pen and paper. Then, y'all wait. Pretty soon, here come the brown paper sacks, dealt out perfectly to each customer. With sassitude. Good solid burger too!!

Historic old bar complex, VERY cool, New Orleans vibe. There are several bar sections with different music/activities happening, wander and choose your spot. (Our son Cody works the Courtyard bar most nights and you will find him to be the most professional and engaging bartender in town. He specializes in upscale mixology and craft beer knowledge.) This train trestle is a local work of art, decorated liberally over and over by every manner of artist. Make your own graffiti mark or just see what's there for your amusement. The bridge will reflect a season, occasion or cause throughout the year, and in between reflects the colors of local hearts as they share their passions for each other, memorials or their artistic brilliance.

You can't skip this. Again. You can't skip this. Fort Pickens holds an integral place in our nation's history. Here is where Geronimo was imprisoned while members of his family were imprisoned in St. Augustine, FL. It is a giant old fort set at the mouth of the pass to guard our city in times of war and war came. There are tours, a museum and plenty to see by car or afoot. Bring your camera for some incredible shots inside the old cells or over the ramparts out to sea.

Whether or not aviation is your passion, this museum is one thing you should not skip if you have the time. There is a giant Imax theater showing all sorts of visual films.
