Food Scene
This is a very zen, chill-out place. Loads of teas to choose from, a very limited lunch menu (but delicious), and really good desserts. Just a nice treat. It's quiet and great when you want a quiet space to chill out, especially when you've spent too much time at the beach and just want to cool off.

The bar is great because you're on the water, but I'm not a fan of the food. It's not bad. It's just kinda boring. Nothing very creative in the food department (to me). They do have sushi, and that's really nice and fresh. HOWEVER, the fish market offers fresh off the boat fish. That's what we do. You will find it crowded for sure.

They do have sushi, and that's really nice and fresh. HOWEVER, the fish market offers fresh off the boat fish. That's what we do. You will find it crowded for sure.
This place is a vegan's dream. They have live music from time to time. LOVE IT.

This gem is hidden inside Playa Bowls on the corner of 8th and Ocean. Don't pay attention to the address that Air B-n-B is putting up. The coffee is the best you've ever had and totally worth it. I have nothing against Playa Bowls BUT it's just a bowl full of sugar. Granted, a delicious bowl of sugar!

Ok so it's not in Belmar, but you can bike or walk there. Breakfast is sooo good and it's on the boardwalk. I like the banana pancakes with the maple syrup (spend the extra $1.75), and Bart gets the lox platter. It's open air. It's also fun to be there when it rains!
