This a friendly, socially vibrant brew pub. 7 Seas pours great beer, lots of variety. Sorry they don't serve food (except the complimentary mixed nuts, which are nice to munch on), but the good news is you can bring in your own chow. They even have a nice back room where you can arrange to put out a buffet if you feel like hosting a party. There is also a sidewalk/patio area.

Nice trail for all...bikers, walkers, runners. Safe walk, good elevation changes, nice path for dogs. Walk or run up to 6 miles one way...good measurements noted on path.

This park has a wonderful new "pirate ship" playground for kids! There is also a huge field for throwing around a ball. You can reserve a picnic shelter for free if you want to have a family reunion or other party. The bathrooms are clean and close to the shelter. The park has shady and sunny areas, plus good parking. It's really a great park!

Take a day trip to Mt Ellinor and hike the 5-6 mile round-trip from the lower or upper trail head. You might see Mountain Goats, friendly Chipmunks or Camp Robber birds. Beautiful drive through Hood Canal and Olympic Mountains. The view from the summit can't be beat!

This museum has some wonderful displays of history and equipment relevant to the area. The host/docent were very knowledgeable. Outside the main building is a fishing trawler being restored that you can board and also outside is a century old school house.

Two to six people can ride for 60-90 minutes with a gondolier telling stories about the past and present history of Gig Harbor, his/her passion about being a gondolier in the US, with actual serenades in Italian. Includes some delicious snacks. Needless to say, the gondola is quite a sight in the Pacific Northwest.
