If you are in the mood for some great barbeque, these guys take it seriously and it is SOOOO good. Highly recommend!

This is one of our favorite local breweries. They have an awesome selection of beers and although they don't have a restaurant - they do usually have a food truck parked outside and fabulous patio seating.

This place is tucked away and a real treat once you get to it. They don't serve food but do allow you to bring your own and even have barbecues you can use. Great beer and good fun place.

There are lots of fun things to do in the local area - some closer than others. See some of the options i've added, but there are always new things popping up as well!
HIKE THE GOLD MINERS TRAILS WITH GOATS:
If you are up for heading into the mountains and want to try something unique, this is a great option! You will need to book a time through Airbnb Boulder experiences. Its about 45-60 minutes drive from the carriage house and well worth it! The tour is about 3 hours long and you get a nice hike with goats and some really interesting local history to go with it. https://www.airbnb.com/experiences/413409Make sure to book this ahead of time with the hosts through airbnb. Also, they will send directions - as GPS doesn't navigate correctly towards the end.
