Local haunt. Beer's not half bad, and it's walkable. They do sometimes have food trucks, but don't count on big dinner. Just beers and a great hang.

Bomb coffee, breakfasts, bakery, etc. This is part of the estimable Woodberry group. The building is pretty stunning. A simple cup of joe is only about $2.50, so not much more than the average Starbuck's, but it's definitely an upscale vibe.

Probably the best in Baltimore. If you're two, you can usually grab a seat at the bar after 8:45pm without a reservation. Otherwise, maybe call in advance. 12 minute walk from the house.

Brewery/restaurant making the best beer and some really great food. You don't really see the brewery part...but the restaurant is beautiful. The basement is one of the coolest hangs in Baltimore. You'll need to drive/uber there. You can get off on the cheap there (two beers and their rosemary fries gets you out for $20 after tip), but you can also rack up a bill with some of their $30 entrees.

Live music every night. Every. Night. Not going to be a kickass national act....it's fun and pretty unpretentious though, and it's by the Fell's Point waterfront.

Very close to the house. Walk or jog is nice here.
Hiking trail. You can go for a really nice 1-4 mile run from the house there and back. Stony Run creek is beautiful. The opposite side backs up to Johns Hopkins U.

Produce a little steep, but this is where you can go for legit pastured eggs, meats, and dairy. They also have a nice little espresso bar and a veg/vegan bowl place called Naked Lunch that I adore.

My squash gym. Also have plenty of cardio machines, a weight room with plenty free weights. The men's and women's locker rooms each have hot tubs and dry saunas. AND! The daily/weekly passes are totally affordable. I think the weekly is $20, so if you are around for a couple of days, that's pretty darn cheap.
