Out of all the breweries to stop in Livermore, Shadow Puppet is has become a favorite. The bar is immaculate, and the group picnic table seating areas to the side with a TV are great! The tall ceilings and viewing area into the brewery makes this brewery feel very inviting. None of this would matter if their beer didn't match the environment. The Guava and Kentucky sours are very unique & good!

They have several TVs ; each playing a different game all at different angles throughout the restaurant which is nice. Large selection of beer and a few ciders available and the staff has always been very friendly (always a huge plus!)
Overall great place, definitely recommend giving them a try when in downtown Livermore!
Parks & Nature
Del Valle regional park is an east bay favorite because of its sheer size and massive amounts of activities that you can do. Ranging from hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, fishing, boating ,etc.
This park is located next to a huge freshwater lake, which allows for plenty of activities to do. There are tons of different hiking / biking trails that allow for steep ascents / descents. There isn't that much shade so be sure to wear sunscreen !! There are also plenty of restrooms and water fountains located throughout the park so you don't have to worry about bringing that much of your own water.

If you go early you can enjoy your libations at a bistro table and chat for a bit before the movie starts. The theaters are enormous and surprisingly you can see pretty well eating by the light of the movie screen.

If you purchase online, park across the street from the Bankhead in the lot. The bottom floor in the lot is only 4 hour parking, but level 2 there is no hourly limit.

Most of the stores always have mark downs on top of their sale prices and if you avail of the Savings Passport at the Visitor Center, you will definitely get your money's worth with extra discounts. The only issue here is that during holidays parking is a drag. But its still a real good place to have some Retail Therapy! Happy shopping!
