Sightseeing
This is a beautiful look off over a tall cliff, complete with lighthouse. Great place to take a picnic! This is a very scenic 25 minute drive from the loft, and is sometimes called "the mini Cabot Trail."

Big Island is a really cute little island, and is a beautiful drive on a sunny day. To get to the island you drive along a 5 km sandbar, where you can pass some beach hours, often in perfect isolation and serenity. Drive down the island (watch for the folk art carvings) and visit the fishing wharf. There is also another sandy beach at the far end of the island, but please be respectful of where you park.

This country store is the only store nearby, and is the go-to place for gas, snacks, canned goods, milk, etc. Has all the essentials covered. Also has a large beer cooler, and is a popular meeting spot for locals.
