This is hands down my favorite place to eat. Everything is made to oder, so don't go if you are in a hurry. My personal favorite thing on the menu is the veal dish called Orecchio di Elefante! Gio is as charming as he can be. He usually greats his quest when he is finished cooking. He makes you feel like family.

They have good Cajun food. I recommend the gumbo, étouffée, and hot crawfish bread. Just as a warning, the hot sausage poorboy is very spicy.

The dew drop is the oldest jazz hall in America. This is a must! It is only open in the fall and spring Because there’s no electricity and it is too hot in the summer and too cold in the winter.
You can goggle dew drop Jazz and social hall to get the music Schedule.
If you want to sit inside you have to get there early. And be quiet. You’ll get dirty looks during the show if you’re talking.
You can sit outside and talk , you’ll need a lawn chair or blanket to sit on.
Go hungry, the church next-door cooks soul food for the show. They cook Fantastic fried chicken and fish!
