Founded close to 10 years ago, Burgers and Brew was created by two brothers who wanted craft brew and a solid burger made with 100% Niman Ranch meats, and the freshest ingredients. Along with the food, Burgers & Brew has an extensive knowledge of craft beer with over 30 taps to prove it. Today with 4 locations and 2 more on the way, it's no wonder Burgers & Brew is a Northern California's favorite place to grab a burger and a cold one.

Luisa and George Palamidessi purchased the building and the surrounding land, that George farmed in 1935. The original building was built in 1912. It was owned and used by the University at Davis as an agronomy laboratory to test the ground for farming. Originally named the Hideaway Cafe, the Club Pheasant has been operating for more than 75 years. Most of the dining rooms, the bar and the kitchen are part of the original building. The newest and largest room was built in 1977. It is named the Luisa Room and has a portrait of the restaurant’s founder, Luisa Palamidessi, prominently displayed. In 1997, the “Patio” was built.

If you are hoping to see the whole museum in one visit, we recommend you allow for at least three hours. Despite its location far from any urban center, the site attracts "millions of travelers each year".

In partnership with New York based ride sharing company Via, the City pilot program allows users to book a ride in a six-passenger Mercedes-Benz van using the Via app or by calling 916-318-5101. Rides start at $3.50, or $1.75 for seniors. Most riders will be picked up within a block of their starting point.
