Beach bar/restaurant with fantastic sunsets, great caipirinhas and sangrias, and marvellous fish dishes.
Also known for it's sunset parties on the summer weekends.
You can get there by bus 223, 231, 234 or 235 from Santana village center and drop off at the stop near Restaurante Caramelo (ask the driver). Then it's a 5 minute walk there.

One of the highest cliffs in Europe. Fantastic sunsets. Just make sure you bring a coat because it's usually windy.

Lovely beach, but it gets crowded in high season. Best visited off season and you should definitely avoid the weekends.
No BUS coverage. The best way to visit is rent a scooter (or car) in Badger Rent a Car in Sesimbra.

If you're into Windsurf or Kite Surf this is the place to be. While the lagoon is perfect for beginners (there's a school there), the open ocean is not for the faint of heart.
It's also a great beach for families with kids.
On the other hand of the lagoon (much quieter) it's the perfect spot for bird watching.
You can get there by bus 240 from Santana village center and drop off at the last stop. Then it's a 15 minute walk to the beach.

If you're into Windsurf or Kite Surf this is the place to be. While the lagoon is perfect for beginners (there's a school there), the open ocean is not for the faint of heart.
It's also a great beach for families with kids.
On the other hand of the lagoon (much quieter) it's the perfect spot for bird watching.
You can get there by bus 240 from Santana village center and drop off at the last stop. Then it's a 15 minute walk to the beach.
This is a lovely little beach, off the beaten track. You won't find tourists there because the access is on foot through the cliffs. But it's worth it.

Great beach to get away from the crowds. You have to walk through the dunes and pinewoods to get there, but it's really worth it.
Bear in mind that you will spot nudists (but it's not mandatory not to use a swimsuit) and the waves are big.
